Dies at the Home of her Son-in-law

Yelvington, Daviess County, Ky., August 28 – (Special) – Mrs. Minerva Steele Bright died at 3 o’clock this morning at the residence of her son-in-law, Benjamin W. Hawes, in Daviess County, Kentucky.
Mrs. Minerva Steele Bright was the daughter of Adam and Hannah G. Steel. She was born in Shelbyville, Ky., on the tenth day of July, 1819. On the 19th day of May, 1842, she was married in Shelbyville, Ky., to George M. Bright, who died July 1, 1883. She will be buried at Grove Hill Cemetery, at Shelbyville, KY, Friday morning, August 30.
Mrs. Bright left surviving her five children: Dr. F. C. Bright, of Jasper County, Missouri; D. George Bright, of Daviess County, Ky.,; Mrs. Benjamin W. Hawes, and Mrs. J. E. Hawes, of Daviess County, Ky. and Mr. Horatio Bright, who practices law in Louisville.
