Winifred A. McHale, 53 of 32 Kitemaug Road, Uncasville, died at 4:59am Thursday in the emergency room at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. McHale was a member of Mohegan Congregational Church. Born in Montville May 13, 1926, she was the daughter of James and Lillian Tantaquidgeon Strickland. She was married to John McHale in 1945 in Delaware.
Besides her husband, survivors include two sons, Norman of Baltic and Richard McHale of Uncasville; a daughter Kathy Cloutier of Uncasville, a brother Donald Strickland of Savannah, GA; four sisters, Edith Fitzpatrick of Lebanon, Harriet Strickland and Catherine Lamphere, both of Uncasville and Dorothy Long of Oakdale and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10am Saturday in the Mohegan Indian Cemetery. The Montville Funeral Home of Church & Allen is in charge of arrangements.
