Emma Jane Young was the daughter of Mary M. Price and Chapman Young born in Georgia and married
Nathan O'Neal Glover son of Eli S. Glover and Susan K. Glover in Taylor Co., GA.. The 1880 census report shows Nathan and Emma living in the Panhandle district of Taylor County. Emma and Nathan moved to Barbour/Dale county Alabama and remained there until aprox 1891 when they traveled by wagon train to Fort Smith Arkansas and remained there until they died. The children were orphaned. The boys made their way to Mississippi to live with their father's friend and the young girls were placed in foster care. The family did not renunite until over 40 years later.
Emma is the daughter of Mary M. Price. Mary was the daughter of James E. Price and Nancy Glover.
Emma and Nathan had the following children. One of the children a girl is not listed here. My grandfather Eli told me "my father had a little girl and a big dog she died and we moved from Georgia back to Alabama), they have on female child who died and is buried in Georgia. Emma died and is buried in Ft. Smith.
