Mrs. Annie Marsh Boyd, 87, of 1864 Oakwood Dr. died at 5 a.m., Monday, March 28, 1977 in Holston Valley Community Hospital following an extended illness. She was a native of Hawkins County, but had lived in Virginia and for the last 22 years had made her home in Sullivan County. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by husband, Alfred Boyd; and son, Bernard Ralph Boyd. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ellaree Fletcher and Mrs. Douglas "Lo" Banks, both of Kingsport; one son, Ed Boyd, of Bristol; one foster daughter, Mrs. Marie Miller, of Utica Mich.; two brothers, Joe Marsh, of Rogersville, and Hugh Marsh, of Church Hill; two sisters, Mrs, Sam Skelton of Church Hill, and Mrs. E. P. Gray of Kingsport; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Wilson Funeral Home, Church Hill is in charge of services.
