Old Lady Dead
Abigail Roberts Hughes died at her home on Railroad Street last Monday evening after a prolonged illness from paralysis. She was about 76 years of age and is survived by her husband, Abijah Hughes and 12 children; James, Martin, Tom, and John, of Oak Hill; George, of Jackson: Lincoln, of Pattonville; Mrs. Ellen Loudermilk, of Wellston: Mrs. Mary Slater, of Monroe Furnace; Mrs. Kate Ford, of Boone, IA; Mrs. Anna Anderson, of Bloomfield Township; Mrs. Josephine Ward, and Mrs. Lizzie Eubanks of this city. Sixty seven grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren survive her.
The funeral was held at 10 o'çlock Wednesday afternoon and the remains were interred at Fairmount Cemetery.
