She died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1999 at her resident in Kingsport, Tn. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Weber City, Va. She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Banks; a grandson, Craig Banks; her parents, Alfred and Annie Marsh Boyd; and two brothers, Bernard Boyd and Ed Boyd. Surviving is a son and daughter in law, Melvin and Linda Banks of Minnesota; a granddaughter, Melanie Banks Nordwall; two great- grandchildren, Sarah and Aaron Nordwall; a sister, Ellaree Boyd Fletcher; niece, Linda Fletcher Baines; nephews, Franklin Fletcher, James Fletcher, and Bobby Fletcher. Services will be at Carter Trent Funeral Home of Kingsport, Saturday, January 16, 1999 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Dean Smith officiating. Pallbears will be family and friends.
