Adelee L. Vose Marcin, 92, died Sept 13, 2011, at Edward Hospital. Adelee was born July 2, 1919, near Perry, Ill. Adelee was a registered nurse and served her country as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army during World War II. She worked at Hines VA Hospital and also Picker-Dunlee Co. She was a member of American Legion Post #187 Elmhurst, Ill. Adelee was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a loving mother and grandmother who loved needle work, reading, and loved playing cards with her friends. She is survived by her son, Edward (Mary Ann) Marcin, D.D.S.; her grandchildren, Lauren, Matthew and Eric Marcin; and sister-in-law, Bessie Jane Vose, of Chambersburg, Ill. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted; brothers, William L., James R. and John F. Vose; and sisters, Ireta Zimmerman and Bertha Jackson. Visitation will be at the Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home and Crematory, 516 S. Washington St., Naperville, on Thursday, Sept. 15, from 4 until 8 p.m. Additional visitation will be held at the Buchanan & Cody Funeral Home, Meredosia, Ill., Saturday, from 1 to 2 p.m. with a service at 2 p.m. Immediately following, interment will be at the Perry Cemetery, Perry, Ill.
