Mrs. Ruth R. Adkins, 43, of 372 W. Cornell Drive, Rialto, died Friday in a Fontana hospital. She was a native and life resident of Rialto.
Mrs. Adkins was a member of Lutheran Church of the Cross, Rialto; was past president of the alto; was past president of the Women's Benefit Association; and a member of the Rialto Women's Club and the Independent Order Of Foresters.
Survivors include the husband, Melvin C; a daughter, Dawn Lynn; a son, Robert Kevin; her mother, Mrs. Gladys R. Hoover; all of Rialto; and three sisters, Mrs. Beverly J. Goodwin of Rialto, Mrs. Mary Mary H. Roesch of San Bernardino, and Mrs. Laurel J. Barker of Arlington, Va.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Lutheran Church of the Cross, Rialto, with Rev. Kenneth Baunhoff officiating. Burial will be in Rialto Park Cemetery. The family has suggested that friends, who so desire, may make Contributions to the memorial fund of Lutheran Church of the Cross, 1302 N. Riverside Ave., Rialto. Ralph Wm. Allen Funeral Home will direct.
