Leon married his wife, Barbara, and had a daughter. He first moved to New York and worked as a furrier before going to Jerusalem where he was a florist at the King David Hotel. Having problems signing in Hebrew, he returned to America, living in Jersey City, New Jersey and was employed as a janitor by ABM Industries at the World Trade Center. Leon perished on the 64th floor in the North Tower.
