Penny Aguiar, dear wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother; just a few of her loved jobs in life. Our angel Penny went home to our lord on September 4, 2011, in Santa Rosa. She was a young 68 year old, who suffered from several illnesses, but was a fighter all the way to the end. Penny was the glue that held the family together and was always there for everyone. She was truly the guiding light in the family. Penny was born August 2, 1943 in Sidney, MT. The family later moved to Oregon, and then on to Santa Rosa, where she graduated from Santa Rosa High School in 1961. She went on to study nursing at the Santa Rosa Junior College, and worked in the nursing field as a Visiting Nurse for several years before moving on to work for the County of Sonoma in the Social Services Department. Retiring from the County of Sonoma after 25 years of service. She was involved in PEO Sisterhood, along with her sister Pam Hale, and mother Anah Roberts. Penny is survived by her loving husband, Patricio Aguiar of Rohnert Park, to whom she was married for 31 wonderful and fulfilling years; her mother, Anah Roberts of Santa Rosa, children Dawn Marie Holling and her husband Paul, Jacque Iniguez, and James Buckett and wife Anita; adored grandmother of Nathanial Holling, Maritza Iniguez, Daniella Iniguez; great grandmother of Adrianna Prado, and Eduardo Hurtavo; dear sister of Pam Hale, Susan Ibarra, Marion Roberts, and Kim Roberts; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Liturgy Service on Friday, September 16, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Daniels Chapel of the Roses, 1225 Sonoma Ave, Santa Rosa. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 15, 2011, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. DANIELS CHAPEL OF THE ROSES FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES.
