dennis was a yurok indian with a great love for his family and his people.he was very proud of his native american heritage. he grew up on the resighini rancheria until the flood of 1964 when the family was relocated to arcadia ca.he was a avid fisherman and hunter,he also worked with wood,making furniture made from native wood.he is survived by his soul mate, tina webster'he was preceded in death by his mother,rose mae mccovey,scott in 2000.his father, william john scott in 2002,grand mothers,and many other family members.dennis has many many family members and freinds thru out northern calif and southern oregon,he was the, go to guy' when any one needed some thing, he drowned on the klamath river fishing,when his boat turned over. doing what he loved.
