Virginia Meyers (nee Wright) Tressler of 231 Tyrol Pass, Monessen, died in the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital suddenly of a heart attack Tuesday, December 24, 1963 at 12:45 a.m. She was born in Addison, PA, January 4, 1906 a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nelson A. Wright.
She was a member of the First Methodist Church, Monessen and the Monessen Chapter 205, O.E.S. She was employed as an assistant cook at the Pittsburgh Steel Lunch Room.
Surviving are her husband, Richard Lee “Rick” Tressler; two daughters, Mrs. James (Betty Jean) McLaughlin of Monessen; Shirley Ann Tressler at home; one grandchild; four brothers, George Wright of Butler, William Wright of Addison, John Wright of Monessen, Harry Wright of Addison; two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Blanche) Collier of Monessen, and Mrs. Melvin (Mary) Reis of Confluence.
Friends are being received at the Edwin Melenyzer Funeral Home, Donner Avenue, Monessen, after 7 p.m. today. Visiting hours are from 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m., where funeral services will be conducted Friday at 1 p.m. with Reverend Jackson Gabany officiating. Interment in the Addison Cemetery
