He was the son of Daniel Gerow and Catherine Jean Secord Gerow. ( There are several other spellings for this last name, including Giraud.) His widow, Charity, emigrated to New Brunswick, Canada with several of their six children and is buried in the Loyalist Cemetery in St. John, New Brunswick. Isaac signed his will the 11h day of May "year of our Lord 1773"; it was witnessed by John ? and Daniel Secord. Following the Revolutionary War, the victors in NYC, holding Loyalists in disdain, covered over Isaac's gravesite with walkway stones, so you cannot see it at Trinity.
(He is my 5th great grandfather. SSS)
