He was a truck driver in the mining industry. He was educated at Bern and Montpelier. He was a member of the Rocky Mountain Cutter Association and belong to the United Mine Workers. He was a member of the LDS Church
He was also a farmer and helped raised cattle with his father.Funeral service was held 9 Nov 1989 at Montpelier Stake Center Burial was held in the Montpelier Cemetery
He has one daugher and 4 sons,11 Grand children Two Brothers and 5 sisters survive him
