Robert Albert Clark
Robert Albert Clark, 75 Of Millsboro, DE formerly of Folcroft, PA Robert Albert Clark, 75, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at his home. Mr. Clark was born in Collingdale, PA on December 16, 1935 son of the late Ralph Albert and Margaret (Dick) Clark. He was a veteran of the Air Force. Bob was a postal supervisor with the Collingdale Post Office retiring in 1988 after 35 years of service. Mr. Clark was a member of AMVETS Post 2 in Long Neck, DE and a member of the American Legion Post 28 in Millsboro, DE. He enjoyed fishing, cooking and playing softball with the Postal League, but spending time with his family was his true passion. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 56 years Della M. Clark in 2010 and two brothers Richard and Harold Clark. Survivors: 3 children Glen D. Clark and his wife Kim of Aston, PA, Roxanne C. Kinsley and her husband Robert Jr. of Wilmington, DE and Dale R. Clark in Norwood, PA; a sister Dorothy Lewis of NJ; 5 grandchildren Nicole, Patrick, Dalton, Alexis and Taylor Clark. Memorial service will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at the Long Neck Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 32013 Long Neck Rd., Millsboro, DE 19966 Visitation: Friends and family may call after 12 Noon in the funeral home. Interment with military honors will be held at 11 AM at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Monday, September 12th. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Robert's name to Boy Scouts Troop 225, c/o Bob Strickler, 764 Iris Lane, Media, PA 19063.
