Eva Lorene (Wallace) Bowling, age 89, entered into rest Saturday, August 17, 2013 at her Festus residence. Born January 3, 1924, in Malden, Missouri, to the late Franklin and Wincie (Herring) Wallace. She had retired as a retail clerk for Goodwill Industries and was a member of Life Christian Church, DeSoto; she loved sewing, her church and eating out.
Survived by her loving family which includes sons: David (Bonnie) Beck of OH, Gordon (Jean) Bowling of IN, Derry (Sheilia) Bowling of DeSoto, Gary Bowling of Festus; daughters: Tonya (Ray) Bowling of MS, Barbara (Danny) Hartleroad of IL, Tamara (Mike) Dutton of MS, Darlene (David) Keck of Rolla and Renetta (Lonnie) Smith of Crystal City; sister-in-law, Doris Wallace of Troy, MO; 32
grandchildren, 57 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren; and special neighbors, Charlie and Joan Austin of Festus.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Edward H. Bowling, brother, Peter Wallace, sister, Velma King and daughter-in-law, Jean Bowling.
Reverend Ray Bowling will officiate service.
