The 1900 United States Census has Mary Catharine and Sylvester living in Wilson County, Texas. Six children were born to the union, son; James F Boyls, and daughters; Alice L Boyls (White), Maggie Boyls (Chappell), Cornellia Boyls (Luker), Fannie Boyls (Cale), and Emma Alabama Boyls (McCall). Sylvester died in 1908 and Mary Catharine remained a widow until her death in 1926.
