Resident Near Mulberry Came to U.S. in 1903
Mulberry, Nov. 19 - Blas Bogatay, 52, died this morning at his home near Mulberry, in Missouri. He had been ill for some time. Mr. Bogatay was a native of Austria but had lived here sixteen years.
Mr. Bogatay was born Feb 3, 1883, in Trata [Tratten], Austria. He came to the United States in 1903. He was employed as a coal miner.
Survivors include two brothers, Jake Bogatay of Mulberry and John Bogatay of Franklin, and two sisters in Yugoslavia.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The body is at the Berkey Funeral Home here.
