ALGOMA RECORD, Friday, February 18, 1898: Wautoma, Wis., Feb. 15-(Special)-Mrs. Warren Barnes, widow of the late Rev. Warren Barnes, died at the home of her son in this village Sunday morning after a short illness. Deceased was born at Fairfield, Vt., in 1827, and came to Wisconsin in 1863. She was married to the late Rev. Warren Barnes in New York in 1829. She had been a resident of Waushara county for the past thirty-five years. Her husband died about six months ago. Several grown children survive her.
