AGED WOMAN DIES
Mrs. John Courter, mother of J.N. Courter, of Enid, and R.W. Courter, of Lahoma, died at the home of the latter about 5 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. She was 86 years, 3 months, and 15 days old. In addition to the two sons, she is also survived by a daughter, Mrs. Grace Kane, who lives in Michigan.

Death resulted after an extended illness incident to the infirmities of old age.

Her husband died 17 years ago and she had since been living with her daughters in Kansas until they died, during the past few years. She then came here and had been living with her sons.

Mrs. Courter and her husband were among the early settlers here and owned and lived on the place now owned by Mrs. C. Rathjen, Sr., for a number of years.

Funeral services were held at the R.W. Courter home at 3 p.m. Thursday.

F.A. Wellman of Enid delivered the funeral sermon. Burial was made in Sunnyside cemetery beside her husband.

M.W. Wood, of Lahoma, was the undertaker in charge.
