Former Brutus resident Helen Dorathea Kellogg, 91, of Troy, died June 5, 1994, in Troy. A memorial service was held Tuesday, June 7, at the First Congregational Church in Royal Oak. Dr. Richard R. Kurrasch officiated. Inurrnment took place at White Chapel Memorial Cemetery in Troy. Burial will be in Burt Township Cemetery.
She was born Feb. 22, 1903, in Cleveland, Ohio. On Sept. 2, 1922, she married Ralph Sterling Kellogg in Detroit. He preceded her in death on June 20, 1980
Mrs. Kellogg had lived in Troy for the past 15 years. She was a life member of the Order of the Eastern Star No. 392 in Royal Oak, and a former member of the Women's Club in Royal Oak. She was also a member of the United Church of Christ in Pellston.
Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Dora J. (Leonard) Mapes, of Troy; three grandchildren; and six great -grandchildren.
