[Daniel Gilbert McNair and Annie Martin] raised seven children; one was Robert Martin Mcnair (1805-1869) who was a country doctor in Calvary. He married Nancy Patterson (1818-1905) and they had twelve children. Four of their sons fought in the Civil War; two of these lost their lives in that war. one of their daughters, Permelia Ruth McNair (1857-1946) married J. A. O. Maxwell of Calvary.
H. W. Overstreet (1908-1986), writing in "Gleanings from Grady County, Georgia" (Wessie Connell, Frank W. Roebuck and Barbara C. Williams, eds; Cairo, GA: Roddenbery Memorial Library, 1987); p 187.

I don't know that he is buried here, but his wife Nancy Patterson McNair is buried here so that's the working hypothesis.
