Gregory Eugene Huffman, of Long Grove, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2003, at University of Iowa Hospital, Iowa City. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2003, at 11:30 a.m. at Runge Mortuary, Davenport. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the family. He was born on January 16, 1980, in Davenport, the son of James and Lora (Gries) Huffman. Gregory graduated from North Scott High School in Eldridge, and later from Scott Community College in Bettendorf. Gregory was employed by Holmes Heating and Air Conditioning. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Gregory would help anyone at anytime. He loved fast cars and loud music. Gregory will be missed very much by those who knew him, he was one heck of a guy. Those left to honor his memory include parents, James and Lora Huffman; brother, Shawn Huffman and wife, Adrienne, brother, Phillip Huffman, sister Rachael Huffman; very special friend, Lisa Ramm; grandparents, the Rev. Charles and Ruby Huffman; and Robert and Kay Cone.
