HILLSBORO NATIVE DIES AT TAYLORVILLE
Mrs. Oleva Borkhardt, 60, of Taylorville, who was born in Hillsboro, died Friday, July 21, in St. Vincent's hospital at Taylorville where she had been a patient since July 9.
Funeral services were held Sunday, July 23, in Shafer Funeral Home, Taylorville, followed by burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Taylorville.
A daughter of David and Bertha Richardson Oller, the deceased was born in Hillsboro on June 27, 1907. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Borkhardt, two years ago.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Leroy Holstlaw of Taylorville; one son, Louis Borkhardt of Moline; two brothers, Frank Oller of Morrisonville and Ben H. Oller of Assumption; one sister, Mrs. Leona Garland of Phoenix, Arizona, with several grandchildren.
