Osmer M. Barker, 80, of 118 Jefferson street, died at Cambridge state hospital yesterday afternoon following an illness.
Mr. Barker was born in Coal Run, Noble county, but spent most of his life in the Zanesville community. He was employed at the S. A. Weller company for 45 years and retired in 1945.
His wife, Alma Burgess Barker, died March 18, 1954.
Surviving are a step-daughter, Mrs. Ralph Maier, of 745 Larzelere avenue; one brother, William of Whittier, Calif.; one sister, Miss Alma Barker of Los Angeles, Calif; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The body was removed to the Putnam chapel of the Mader-Peopples funeral home pending arrangements.

Funeral services for Osmer M. Barker, 80, of 118 Jefferson street, will be held at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon at the Putnam chapel of the Mader-Peoples funeral home with Rev. Frederick Brown officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood.
Mr. Barker died Sunday at Cambridge state hospital.
