Jean Eleanor BROOKS, 75, of Duncansville, Blair County, died Monday morning, Jan. 16, 2006, at her home. Born April 8, 1930, in Altoona, Blair County. she was a daughter of the late Dennis L. and Arletta (Rutter) Wilt. She was united in marriage to Russell P. Brooks Sr. July
18, 1947, in Juniata, Altoona. Mr. Brooks survives at their home. Mrs. Brooks is also survived by six sons and four daughters; Russell Brooks Jr., Petersburg; Andrew Brooks, Hollidaysburg; Allen Brooks and Kevin Brooks, both of Huntingdon; Dallace Brooks, Columbia, Tenn.; Raymond
Brooks, Williamsburg; Virginia Smith, Barbara Kurtz and Lisa Williams, all of Altoona; and Darlene Brooks, Port Matilda; 25 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother and two sisters, Ronald Wilt, Altoona; and Cleo Wilt and Malden Barr, both of
Las Vegas, Nev. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Sherry Brooks. Mrs. Brooks enjoyed reading and attending family events with her children and grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m.
Thursday, Jan. 19, at the Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, 618 Martin St., Bellwood, with Nathaniel Brooks officiating. Interment will be made in the Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood
