At a very young age, she moved with her parents to Bouja, Louisiana. There she met and married David harp, at age 18. This union was not blessed with children. She moved with her husband to Milligan, La., and united with Bethel A.M.E. Church. Her husband preceded her in death in Milligan. After the passing of her husband, she moved to Eudora, Arkansas, and united with Bethel A.M.E. Church. There she served faithfully as a stewardess until she moved, July 1972 to Los Angeles, California, and united with Walker Temple A.M.E. Church, under the pastorate of Rev. Paul E. Kidd. She served as a stewardess on Stewardess Board #1.
She was affectionately called "Aunt Ada" by all. To know her was to love her. Although handicapped, she was always jolly and rejoicing; always praising the Lord and thanking Him for his blessings.
She leaves to mourn, five generations of nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
