Mrs. Agnes Maud Tavenner, 63, of 1150 Stewart Street, South Norfolk, died in a Norfolk hospital yesterday at 12:20 a.m. after a long illness.
She was a native of Crosby, Pa. and had lived in this section for 47 years. She was the daughter of Michael and Mrs. Mary Hoover Kuhn. She is survived by her husband, William Chester Tavenner; two daughters, Mrs. Clyde G. Fentress, of Portlock, and Mrs. Augustus Cartos, of South Norfolk: two sons: Dr. M C Tavenner, of Philadelphia,Pa., and William C. Tavenner, of Portlock, one sister, Mrs. S B Duval,of South Norfolk: two brothers, F. R. Kuhn, of Raleigh, N C and 0. E. Kuhn, of Washington: and
seven grandchildren.
Mrs.Tavenner was a member of The South Norfolk Baptist Church and of the Woman's Benefit Association,of South Norfolk
The body was removed to the Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk. Where services will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park.
