John T. Kidd Dies Monday
John T. Kidd, 75, died early Monday morning at the Newnan Hospital. Mr. Kidd had been in ill health for several years.
Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock at the Beard-Askew-Trippe Funeral Home with the Rev. L. O. Leavell officiating. Pallbearers were R. B. Hubbard, Sr., William Askew, Roy Brown, Frank S. Wilkinson, Phillip Jackson and Hiram Owens.
Mr. Kidd is survived by seven daughters, Misses Jewel Kidd, of LaGrange, Zipporah Kidd, of Forsyth, Euna Kidd, of Atlanta, Alice Kidd, of Newnan, Rebecca Kidd, of Charlotte, N. C., Mrs. J. H. Sappington, of LaFayette, Ga., Mrs. E. A. Daniel of Greenville, Pa.; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Davis, of Atlanta, and Mrs. Maggie Witcher, of Vienna; and three brothers, Messrs. Walt, Will and Hamp Kidd, all of Newnan.
