Madeline B. Cairnes at the age of 95 died Nov. 19, 2010. she was born in Philadelphia, Pa. living there until she was an Ocean City resident in 1952. She worked in the Ocean City High School cafeteria for 19 years. She was very involved in her church, St. Augustine's in Ocean City.
Survivors include four children, 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and extended family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Matthew J. Cairnes; and granddaughter, Victoria Cairnes.
A Mass of Christian Burial was offered Nov. 23 from St. Augustine's R.C. Church in Ocean City. Burial followed mass in Seaside Cemetery, Palermo, NJ.
