Reba "Joann" Ziegler was born to Lucille Reba Kline and Oscar Rolland Reynolds in Coles County, Illinois. Although her first name was Reba, she mostly used her middle name, Joann, especially with friends and relatives.
She married John Carrol Ziegler in the home of a minister at the Methodist Church (per a local IL newspaper article) and resided in Tuscola, Illinois (Douglas County) and Milwaukee county, Wisconsin most of her married life. While in Milwaukee, she provided professional assistance to the Mount Carmel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center as needed.
Her first son, Ricky Lee, passed away in infancy and shares a marker with his mommy. (Note: I have the baby's annoucement of arrival and it shows his first name spelled Rickie.) She had another son and a daughter shortly afterwards. She also had 5 known grandchildren at the time Reba Joann passed away.
Joann's final resting place is Tuscola (IL) Township cemetery. She had lost her battle with cancer in 1996 while in Milwaukee WI.
