BRUNK, Howard - Howard William Brunk, 84, formerly of Tavistock, passed away in the loving arms of his sister, Marlene, at Spruce Lodge, Stratford on Friday, September 22, 2017.
He was born on December 22, 1932 a son of the late Harvey and Ina (Miller) Brunk. Howard was a butcher and worked in Meat Processing at J.M. Schneider in Kitchener for many years. Besides his parents, Harvey and Ina Brunk he was predeceased by his step-mother, Mabel Brunk Roth; his brother, Kenneth Brunk (1993) and his "buddy" Peter Sop (2017).
Howard is survived by his sister, Marlene Zehr and her children, Murray, Barb and Larry; his daughters, Debbie and Patti and their mother, Shirley.
A private funeral service will be held in the Francis Funeral Home, 77 Woodstock St.N., Tavistock. Spruce Lodge Chaplain, Lily Kampferseck, will officiate. Interment in Grace United Cemetery, Tavistock.
