Rosary for Harry M. Etchey, Sr., 68, of 23715 Woodway Park Road, Edmonds, will be said at 8 o'clock this evening in Beck's chapel, Edmonds. Requiem Mass will be said at 10 o'clock tomorrow at Holy Rosary Church, Edmonds. Burial will be in Holyrood.
Mr. Etchey died yesterday in a Seattle hospital of a heart ailment.
Born in Fort Wayne, Ind., Mr. Etchey came here when he was 9. He retired seven years ago as vice president in charge of purchasing for Ernst Hardware. He was with the company 42 years. Mr. Etchey was a Navy veteran of the First World War and a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Holy Name Society. Surviving are his wife, Elsie Mae, Edmonds; three sons, Richard V., Douglas B. and Harry M. Etchey, Jr.; two daughters, Mrs. Rex A. Porter and Mrs. James O'Neill; a brother, Ralph Etchey, and two sisters, Mrs. Michael Comber and Mrs. Mildred McCluskey, all of Seattle; 26 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. The family suggests remembrances to the Maryknoll Fathers, Maryknoll, N.Y.
