Lillie H. Arriaga - Pueblo Chieftain - October 24, 2001 - Lillie H. Arriaga, 85, passed away Oct. 22, 2001.
She is predeceased by husbands, Vidal Adame in 1940 and Esequiel D. Arriaga in 1967; sister, Mary (Chona) Gonzales; and children, Rachael Hieman, Kelly Arriaga and Nellie Sanchez.
She is survived by her children, Alex (Joleen) Adame, Josie (Ben) Mendoza, Larry (Windy) Arriaga, Mary Esther (Richard) Vigil and Zeke (Elizabeth) Arriaga; numerous nieces and nephews; 33 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Lillie was a volunteer for Senior Citizens SET Program, a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel and Mount Carmel Society, The Blessed Sacraments, Legion of Mary and served as Eucharistic Minister and President of the Guadalupanas Organization.
She was also on the first Fiesta Day Committee and The Damas Unidas (Women's Benefit and Betterment Club). Visitation, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday. Rosary, 7 p.m. Thursday.
Funeral Mass, 2 p.m. Friday. Both services at St. Francis Catholic Church. Interment, Imperial Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends at 1816 Pine St.
