Alice Moyers, 60, of Lubbock died Tuesday at a local hospital.
Celebration of Life services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Resthaven's Mausoleum Chapel. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.
Alice Faye Moyers was born March 12, 1946, in Marietta to the late Sol and Mary (Griffin) Godsey. Alice was raised in Lubbock and was a graduate of Jesse Lee's Beauty College. She had worked at different locations in Lubbock. She had been married to Carl Moyers for more than 18 years. Alice enjoyed being a mother and grandmother and taking care of her dogs. She retired in 1989 due to her health.
Alice is survived by her husband, Carl Moyers of Lubbock; her children, Annette Porterfield and husband, Colby Chappell of Plainview, Joseph Gibson of Lubbock, Damon Moyers and wife, Jo Ellen of Lubbock, Tracy Norris of Lubbock, Misty Spivey of Dallas, Stacy Fulton and husband, Todd of Lubbock, Carla Roberts and husband Sid of Lubbock, and Debra Bradburry, of Smyer, numerous grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
