Motion picture actress. She established herself as a Vaudeville comedienne in the late 1920s, appearing with her husband, Eddie Tierney. Signed by Fox Studios in 1929, she was featured in several of the early Fox musicals, most notably "Sunny Side Up" (1929) and Just Imagine (1930). She moved to Columbia Pictures in 1933, playing the part of the vampy Dolores in the Wheeler and Woolsey farce, "Diplomaniacs." The following year, she starred in the two-reel musical novelty "Woman Haters," in which she was given top billing over The Three Stooges, who were then making their Columbia Pictures debut. Tragically, her promising film career ended suddenly when she was killed in a car crash not long after the picture was completed. Her birth certificate says that she was born in 1908, not 1907.
