Mildred Elizabeth "Babe" Berlin, 62, of Olney, died at 8:26 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, 1998, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Beecher City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Stasi-Grove Funeral Home in Olney.

Memorials can be made to Prairie Heart Institute.

Mrs. Berlin was born Dec. 1, 1935, in Orland Park, the daughter of Joseph R. and Ida Mae (Murphy) Jennings. She married Donal Berlin, of Olney.

She was a housewife.

She is survived by her husband, Donal Berlin, of Olney; two sons, Gary Berlin, of Effingham, and John Berlin, of Effingham; three brothers, Harold Jennings and his wife, Neil, of Fayetteville, N.C., Jerry Jennings and his wife, Gayle, of Olney, and Bill Jennings and his wife, Betty, of Olney; three sisters, Marie Baker and her husband, Caroll, of Olney, Nancy DuFrain and her husband, Ed, of Marysville, Mo., and Betty Wyatt, of Olney; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Timmy, a daughter, Connie, and a sister.
