Winona Nadine Abel passed from this life August 18, 2011. Nadine was born March 7, 1924, in Shawnee OK to Oscar David and Edna Mae (Gibson) Miller. She enjoyed her employment at Shoshone's Jewelers and its successors. She retired from Arvest Bank, where she enjoyed working and seeing her customers daily. Nadine loved her church and was a faithful member of Oklahoma Avenue Baptist Church, where she attended as she raised their four children. She later joined the fellowship of Immanuel Baptist Church where she enjoyed the kinship and trips she took with the church group.

Nadine was preceded in death by her husband, Adrian Edwin Abel, her parents, sisters Alice Burke and Alaine Fleming, brother David Miller, granddaughter Tammie Mae McKey Schaefer, and grandson Darryl Rodriquez.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Coletta Mae and James McKey of Weatherford OK; sons and daughters-in-law Adrian Edwin Abel, Jr., Linda of Shawnee, Harvey Dean Abel of Oklahoma City, and Charles Dewayne Abel and Carol of Scotland; grandchildren and spouses Roy & Robin McKey, Crystal & Don Wilson, Laura Abel Rodriquez, Jesse & Katie Abel, Shaina Abel, Teasa & Guillirmo Ramirez, Camie Abel, John & Jessica Abel, Rodney & Allison Robinson; great-grandchildren Robert Wilson, Elizabeth Wilson, Olivia Duren, Kierston Rodriquez, Ayden Rodriquez, Poplyn Robinson, Braden Abel, Ethan Abel, Emma Abel, C.J. Christman, Cameron Christman, Brittany Vevea, Maddyson Ramirez, and Izek Ramirez.
