According to the birth places of their children, they came from France to the United States between 1849 and 1859. They are reportedly on a New York Passenger list of 1855, but this writer could not find that record.

Fred Arbogast died in 1881 and was buried here in Missouri. Caroline Aarbogast died June 24, 1890 in Oklahoma. She is buried at Boggy Depot Cemetry, Atoka, Atoka County, Oklahoma.

Daughter Caroline, born in 1849, married John Arnold Ruppert.

Son Fredrich/Friederic Arbogast, Jr., born about 1847, married Wilhelmine Zahl. He died about 1889 and is believed to be buried here at New Frankfort Cemetery, but he is not on the cemetery list. His wife Wilhelmine Zahl died August 19, 1909 in Wapanucka Johanston, Oklahoma. They had children Otto, William, and Albert.
