Clyde C. Bagwell, age 73 of Mount Holly, AR passed away Monday, August 22, 2011.
He was born February 15, 1938 in Dubach, LA to Ascue "Boots" and Rachel Green Bagwell.
Clyde worked in the logging business until his health failed. He then took up tending to his garden and grandboys. He was known as "Papaw Clyde" to his grandchildren and everyone. Countless children thought he was their Papaw until they were old enough to realize there was no relation. Clyde had a special love for all people.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ascue "Boots" and Rachel Green Bagwell of Mount Holly.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 43 years, Ann Walthall Bagwell; son, Kevin Bagwell and wife, Tina; daughter, Monica Carter and husband Sandy; four grandsons, Dustin Bagwell and wife, Katie, Jesse, Noah and Ethan Carter all of Mount Holly; one sister, Carolyn Grisham and husband, Luther of Springhill, LA.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at Proctor Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
