He married Mary Guild Dec. 6, 1756 in Walpole, MA. They had 5 children - Molly, Elizabeth, John, Amos and Mercy. Mary died in 1800, he married second Mary (Pratt) Breck, (66987420) widow of Elijah Breck on Nov. 6, 1800 in Medfield, MA.

Lemuel Robson's (Robinson's) regt.; enlisted Jan. 29, 1776; service to time of marching in [i.e. home], 14 days; regiment raised in Suffolk and York counties; roll dated Roxbury and endorsed "service at Dorchester Heighths and vicinity;" also, Lieutenant, Capt. Sabin Mann's co. of Medfield militia; return of alarm list with equipments, dated June 10, 1776; also, list dated Sept. 16, 1777, of men belonging to Capt. Sabin Mann's co. of Medfield militia drafted to complete the quota for the Continental Army, but who paid money in lieu of service; said Plimpton reported as having paid £15.
