Jean Wallace Aaron
— Mrs. Jean Wallace Aaron, 95, of Dalton, passed away Monday, Aug. 22, 2011, at Hamilton Medical Center.
She was a member of Dalton First Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, James M. "Jim" Aaron, in 1998.
Jean is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Dale Lang of Greenville, S.C.; sons and daughter-in-law, James Aaron of Lookout Mountain, Tenn. and Tommy and Bonny Aaron of Marietta; grandchildren, Beth Krask, Dale Lang Jr., Jim Lang, Peyton Aaron and Miller Aaron; great-grandchildren, Aaron Krask, Lindsey Krask, Jordan Lang, Emily Lang and Miles and Charlotte Lang.
Services are Thursday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Dalton First Baptist Church with the Rev. Phillip Cannon officiating.
Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Thursday in the atrium of the church from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
At Jean's request, she asks that flowers please be omitted and memorials be made to Hamilton Hospice, P.O. Box 1168, Dalton, GA 30722-1168; or to the Special Olympics, 4000 Dekalb Technical Parkway, Suite 400, Building 400, Atlanta, GA 30340.
