Uncle James McManigal, who died at the home of his son, Alex, in this city last Sunday, was 78 years of age, a native of Scioto County, Ohio, and came to this county 39 years ago. Four sons, Alexander, Charles, Arch and Bird and two daughters, Mrs. Asa Dixon, now in California, and Mrs. John Holeton of this city survive him. The funeral was from the E. U. B. church Tuesday afternoon of this week, the Rev. Newman officiating.

James McManigal died at his son’s home Sunday evening at 5 o’clock. Mr. McManigal had lived in Washington county for nearly forty years and was one of our highly respected pioneer citizens. His funeral took place from the U.B. church Tuesday at 1 o’clock.
