Mrs. Carolyn L. Breen died Tuesday after a long illness. She was a native of Red Creek and a former resident of Port Byron. For the past several years she had lived with her daughter, Miss Marian E. Breen of 133 E. Matson Ave., Syracuse. Mrs. Breen was a communicant of St. James Church, Syracuse. In addition to her daughter in Syracuse, she is survived by two other daughters, Miss Frances A. Breen of Arcade and Mrs. Carroll Black of Binghamton; two sons, J. Richard of Baldwinsville and Robert M. Breen of Buffalo; one sister, Miss Elizabeth Peach of Washington, D.C.; four grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Services were held Thursday at the John G. Butler funeral home, Syracuse and at 9 a. m. in St. James Church, Syracuse. Burial in St Joseph's cemetery, Weedsport.
