Charles C. Alexander, age 82, of Fulton, Missouri died at 8:40pm on November 3, 1933 at Fulton State Hospital where he had been a patient for one year, six months and twenty-five days.
Dr. R.B. Bridgewain, physician of the hospital, ruled death as General Dibility, Myocardial Deficiency, Hypostatic Pneumonia contributed to by Fracture of Right Hip which occured ten weeks ago.
He was born in 1851, in Callaway County, Missouri, to unknown parents. He was a widower but no name of spouse given. Charles was a Weighmaster.
Arrangements were under the direction of Leo Wallace Funeral Home of Fulton. Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Several people from town were invited out to the home of C.C. Alexander Wednesday evening to eat water mellons. Of course they cheerfully accepted the invitation and Mr. Alexander and Miss Lucy had ready a big pile of fine melons from the patch.
As the melons were cut open those that did not come up to the excellence which Mr. Alexander thought right were discarded and another opened. The guests were served in the good old way of being handed a half of a big melon for a starter and believe me there was some watermelon eating that night.
