Services to Be Tomorrow
For Ex-Oklahoman
Services for Mrs. Gratelle Garner Brooks, wife of Merrill S. Brooks of 1751 Poplar, will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Treadwell's Norris Funeral home with burial in Memorial Park.
Mrs. Brooks, who was 66, died at 9:10 on May 20, 1968 at her home after a long illness.
Born in Enid, Oklahoma, February 26, 1902, she came to Memphis twenty-eight years ago and was a member of Lindenwood Christian Church. She was an underwriter for New York Life Insurance Company for more than 30 years.
She also leaves a daughter Mrs. Colleen Garner Rosenblatt of 1271 Poplar, a sister, Mrs. Lee Leonard of Grant's Pass, Oregon; a brother R. E. Smith of Garland, Texas and a granddaughter.
