Christine Clark Arthur
Christine Clark Arthur, 86, of Monroe, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2011. She was the wife of the late Harold Lambert Arthur.
Born June 4, 1925 in Campbell County, she was the daughter of the late Wallace Aubrey and Carrie Mason Clark.
In addition to her parents, and husband, Mrs. Arthur is preceded in death by two brothers, Glenwood Clark and Wallace Maxwell "Mack" Clark.
Mrs. Arthur retired as a clerk for Hallmark Cards, and also retired from F.W.Woolworth, Co. and was a member of First Southern Methodist Church.
Survivors include her sister-in-law, Irene Clark of Monroe; nieces and nephews, Jerry Clark, Marian Dudley and husband Carroll; Walter Clark and Timothy Clark.
The family will receive friends today Sunday, August 21, 2011 at Whitten Monelison Chapel from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m.
A graveside service will be held at North Bedford Baptist Church Cemetery Monday at 10:00 a.m. conducted by Rev. Charles L. Stinson.
