Cameron Items. From the Herald. Last Sunday afternoon at about 3 o'clock Grandpa Glover died at the home of his nephew [sic, i.e. grandson?], Jas. Glover in the northern suburbs of Cameron. He was 88 years old and very feeble. A few days before his death he was out walking and fell into a pool of water, and getting wet from which he took cold, the attack developing into congestion. His son, W.B. Glover, died several weeks ago, and since that time Grandpa Glover has resided mainly with his nephew. He was highly respected. Rockdale Messenger. (Rockdale, Tex.), Vol. 28, Ed. 1 Thursday, August 9, 1900 Page: 2 of 8
