Ada Kvam of HARMONY -- Ada Kvam 95, of Harmony, formerly of Canton, died Wednesday Nov. 9, 1994) at Harmony Community Hospital.
Ada Alfson wsa born July 6, 1899, in Fillmore County. On Dec. 6, 1922, she married Hoskil Kvam at her parents' home and they lived in Canton. Mrs. Kvam was a librarian while living in Canton and, after moving to Harmony following her husband's death in 1962, was a home health aide for a time. She had resided at Harmony Nursing Home since becoming ill.
Survivors include a son, Richard of St. Charles; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mildred Pooler of Rochester and Anne Cain of Fort Dodge, Iowa. Two sons and two great-grandchildren preceded her in death.
The funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at Greenfield Lutheran Church in Harmony. Burial will be in Greenfield Cemetery.
