The death of Crawford Irwin Barr, a promising son of Mr. and Mrs. Simon Barr, occurred at the home of his parents on Walnut street, east of Penn, on Tuesday night last at 10 30 o'clock. He was in the 22d year of his age, having been born on the 17th day of December, 1868. The young man had been ill since last November and his death was caused by a complication of diseases. He was well known and highly esteemed in the community and was a corporal of company C, National Guard Pennsylvania volunteers. The funeral will take place from the home of his parents on Friday afternoon at 3 o clock. Company V, will attend the funeral and the young man will be laid to rest with military honors. The members of company C will assemble at the company armory at 2 30 sharp. Interment in the Presbyterian cemetery.
